Well, me really.

Not a trainer

First of all, you shouldn't choose me if you are looking for training.

I can help you along the way with things like formulas and other Excel features but if you want general training there are plenty of excellent trainers to be found on the web.

Been around a bit

I'm not a programmer or techie, my background is in sales at director-level, managing sales forecasting, sales target setting and tracking, stock control and purchasing.

Over the years I have used Excel to manage a number of processes with high volumes of data.

I'm about getting Excel to work in-line with business objectives.

How would I work with you?

If you are reading this, you might have reached the point where you can't see the wood for the trees.

Excel is such a flexible app that it is easy to jump right in and get it to do stuff without the need for a great deal of planning.

That can be its downfall as you can soon create a pile of spreadsheets that have grown organically but perhaps no longer fit the way you do business.

Coupled with this you might find that you or your team don't have the time to step back away from the day-to-day business to give it a good overhaul.

That's where I can come in.

Another point of view

I can offer an outsider's view, not encumbered with 'that's the way it's always been done'.

Without the need to take care of day-to-day business I can work through your current setup and reshape it to your current needs.
